COPPA Information

CyberWolfAI LLC · Version 0.9 (pre-launch draft) · Last updated 2026-07-28

In plain words

COPPA is a US law (the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) that sets rules for how online services handle personal information from children under 13.

Little Lobos Academy was designed from the start around COPPA's core ideas: collect very little about children, keep parents in charge, and never use children's data for ads.

This page describes what the law covers and what the platform does. It is not a claim of certification or formal compliance — legal review is pending before public launch.

What COPPA covers

COPPA generally requires services directed to children to give parents notice about data practices, obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from a child, and let parents review and delete their child's information.

It also restricts using children's data for behavioral advertising and requires reasonable security for the data that is collected.

How our design relates

Parents create and manage every account and student profile — a child never registers, never enters contact information, and never shares data through the platform on their own.

The child-related data we store is minimal: a parent-chosen first name and learning progress. There are no ads, no data selling, and no third-party ad trackers.

Parents can review and delete their child's data at any time by emailing contact@cyberwolfai.com.

Verifiable parental consent (framework — pending legal review)pending legal review

COPPA has specific requirements for how consent must be obtained and documented. Because parents are the only ones who create accounts and profiles, consent is built into how the platform works — but the formal consent mechanics for a public launch require attorney review.

Before public family accounts launch, this section will document exactly how consent is collected, recorded, and revoked.

Current status

The platform currently runs as a private single-family deployment. Public family accounts are planned, and this document is a pre-launch framework (version 0.9).

We describe our practices honestly and do not claim COPPA certification or a completed compliance audit. Formal review is pending.
